Senior Officer - Asset management (talent pool)

Responsible for supporting day-to-day back-office operations and coordinating with internal teams and external counterparts to ensure instructions are executed promptly, in line with internal policies, procedures, best practices, and compliance requirements.

• Accurately record and update all portfolio activities in the system, including trades, cash movements, dividends, and security transfers.

• Review trade tickets submitted by portfolio managers, cross-check details with counterparty confirmations, and ensure timely booking into client portfolios.

• Perform daily and weekly reconciliations of cash and securities using statements from banks, brokers, and clearing agents to ensure asset integrity.

• Track corporate actions, communicate relevant information to portfolio managers in a timely manner, and ensure proper recording and follow-up of distributions and fee collections.

• Maintain well-structured and easily accessible records to support audits, regulatory requirements, and client requests.

• Produce regular operational reports for clients, management, and regulatory bodies.

• Escalate any issues promptly to the line manager or appropriate stakeholders to facilitate swift resolution.

• Monitor and follow up on correspondence and client inquiries, preparing responses and supporting documentation as needed.
